Hey Kathleen - Thanks so much for your kind words. I agree, if everyone would just start knitting there would be no time for war! So I wish I could say I designed the socks, but alas, I did not, Cat Bordhi did. Here is a link to the pattern. http://store.vogueknitting.com/p-154-lace-socks.aspx Would love to know about what you do. Shall we continue our conversation via email - laurie@knitouttathebox.com. BTW - I used 4 balls for the socks. The gauge of the yarn is approx. 5.5/inch on US #5.

Hi Laurie,
Just ran across your story in the CK blog. Love the socks, want the socks. Is there a pattern somewhere? Where did you get the design for the cuff? I'll do the rest. Is this yarn a DK weight?

I'm glad you are getting the publicity you deserve. My moto is "knitting promotes world peace" and your yarn is a step in that direction.

Sincerely,
Kath

Yay! Congrats on the review. There is something special about the Sifa yarn and I loved making the slippers (from your slipper kit) with it. It really did feel theraputic to the touch and knit up easily for me. Thanks Laurie! Continued success to you.

Hey Chris. The first thing I made when I was "trying out" the yarn was an Infinity Scarf. As I write this I am getting ready to photograph a Cowl version that I am going to offer as a FREE pattern. Stay tuned for pics!
